I haven’t posted any statistics about my laptop battery in quite some time.
Noticeably I haven’t lost any more capacity since November.

while updating my system today, I decided to let my laptop use some of the battery because it’s been plugged in all week. now something interesting happened after trying to plug the system back into the wall. the battery says it’s charged.
I haven’t really been using the new battery that much, I kept it around a 40% discharge, then I charge it up or let it sit, and use my older battery, and leave it plugged in to the wall. Since doing the initial charge cycles, the battery doesn’t appear to have lost any more [...]

After reading this article, I remembered back a year ago when MS said they were going to make computers more “trustworthy.” Well, they haven’t, and it doesn’t look like its going to be anytime soon. Even MS got hit with the SQL Slammer worm on their internal networks.
