my 2 servers keep overheating more and more lately. i decided to redo the contact to my fan/heatsink. i got some silicone thermal grease today, applied it several times, and each a no go. aplying the grease thinly/correctly is a pain in the ass. i dont think the regular silicone is good enough so i decided to order some arctic silver. hopefully this better thermal grease will solve the issue. next step is liquid cooling if this attempt fails.
