It took a lot for me to get moving today after getting so much done yesterday.  I really just didn’t feel up to going out to face the world.  After forcing myself out of the apartment I feel somewhat accomplished.

The world really feels small sometimes.  Today while returning the U-Haul dolly, which we forgot to return yesterday, the person working the counter was a brother of an old friend of mine whom I haven’t seen in years.  Unfortunately he was the only person working behind the counter as his counter part had yet to arrive.  So with about 6 people waiting in front of me, I dug in and patiently waited.  While waiting I chatted with a few other people who were waiting.  So it got to be my turn, and after the usual, “I know you routine” and a quick catching up it was time to move on to business.   All in all, it took about an hour to return something, lesson learned is never go to the U-Haul on a Sunday.

On the way back, I decided I should go do a little grocery shopping at the Trader Joe’s which is really close to my new home.  Holy shit was it a mad house in there.  Compounded by the fact I have never been this one, and haven’t shopped in a very long time, suffice to say it took me a while to get through there and I still don’t think I got everything I was looking for.  After I finished wandering the aisles, I even attempted to make a little small talk with the attractive checkout girl.  :)  ahh beautiful women.  So after the usual “Hi, how are you doing today”, I asked her when the best time was to shop here, she said during the weekday mornings were good.  She even told me that she was dreading working this Wednesday.  I then mentioned I just moved back here, and I think I got a little shy after that, because she asked me where I moved from.  I stutterd a little bit and managed to say “South East Arizona, south of Tucson”.  Maybe I should go back Wednesday and test the waters with more small talk.

So yah, today I pushed myself both physically and mentally.  This feels kind of difficult getting my life back on track.  Anyways I’m hurting pretty good right now, and I’m quite hungry as I haven’t eaten since last night.  I’m glad that I went shopping and picked up some easy to make stuff.  Mmm.  I really missed Trader Joe’s.

That’s my day so far.  I wonder if Egon will call me about going to see Beowulf in 3D at the Spectrum.
