ok, we’re all familiar with amazon’s free super saver shipping, for orders over $25, that contain $25 worth of “eligible” amazon.com products.

the thing i want is $24.69, Netgear FA120 10/100 USB 2.0 Adapter
the only thing i can find to bump my order over $25 and not spend more than $2 is the $1.69, Colgate Total Plus Whitening Anticavity Flouride and Antigingivitis Toothpaste, Paste, 6oz.

Not only do i get the FREE super saver shipping, but my order is going to cost amazon double shipping. Why? because my order is estimated to ship on 2 different dates, likely from 2 different shipping centers. All this hassle, because of their saver shipping policy of $25. I think they should modify it, so that $24.20 - $24.99 is in the “eligible” category. Now I know the whole reason for the free saver shipping is for customers to return more and more in the long run, but this is ridiculous.

I wonder if anyone in the shipping area will read my note, and take a moment to think about it.
