Farmer’s maze finds way to educate
STATESVILLE — An Autauga County farmer is hoping his maize maze will help teach area schoolchildren a little about America’s geography. The maze, cut into a 12-acre cornfield, is in the shape of the continental United States.
Ted Johnson, owner of River Bottom Farms and River Bottom Bed and Breakfast, has always toyed with the idea of a cornfield maze.
