Well today was interesting. I just got back from a speed dating event at the guy’s house who owns the company. At first I was really nervous, and shy, but as time past, and the beer I drank settled into my blood stream, I felt a little better. It was definitely a fast paced meet and greet. Roughly 4 1/2 minutes talking with someone, then 30 seconds to write some notes, and then on to the next person. The age range for this event was pretty wide, 20-40’s. So some of the time was spent just trying to make some kind of small talk, and hoping the 4min would end sooner. There was a couple of girls I wish I would have had more time to chat with.

I did get responses from 2 beautiful Brazilians with gorgeous eyes, and 1 dark eyed Canadian, swing dancer, with a Monroe piercing. Thanks to my brain farts, I forget whom I responded to, but I know at least 1 of the Brazilians I was interested in. Well I was interested in both really, but only thought I’d have a chance with 1. There was about 4 Brazilian girls there they all seemed to be friends. And the Canadian girl, I didn’t think she was interested so I didn’t put down my info on a card for her. But good thing she was interested in me, so now I have her #. The Brazilians gave me their email addy’s. I was surprised anyone was even interested in me. I also had a great conversation with one girl, who was working on the event, and was filling a chair. I probably would be interested in her if she didn’t have a bf. I thought I was the youngest one there, but it turned out she was, at 20. After the whole speed dating thing was done, we talked and we have a rather interesting common interest. Our hatred of the Workers Compensation system, and how it makes peoples lives worse.

Over all I had a good time. The women I met were all nice from what I can tell. The majority of them were too old for me, but next time I go, it will be a 20’s event.
